Select anchor points
With the Direct Selection tool, you can select a path to see its anchor points. To select a point, click it. Shift-click to add or remove points from the selection, or drag across anchor points to select them.
Add and remove anchor points
You can add points to a selected path by clicking the path with the Pen tool selected. Click directly on an anchor point with the Pen tool selected to remove anchor points.
Convert points with the Anchor Point tool
To remove the direction lines from a point, click it with the Anchor Point tool. To add direction lines to a point so you can make a curve, drag away from the point.
