Jump-start your business card design with an Adobe Stock template containing rich visual designs. Change the artwork, typography, and colors to make it unique.
What you'll need
This sample file contains assets provided by Adobe Stock for your tutorial practice purposes only. Check out the ReadMe file in the folder for the terms of use for this file. Adobe Stock has millions of royalty-free images and videos for your commercial use. You can get 10 images with a free month trial.
Launch Illustrator and grab a handy template
In the Illustrator Home Screen, click Create New or choose File > New.
In the New Document window, click the Print category at the top. Scroll to see the Adobe Stock templates supplied below. Select a template and click See Preview to view its components, file size, and other details.
Select the Simple Business Card template and click Download. Once the download is complete, click Open.
The next time you’re here, the template will appear in the Saved tab.
Or start with a preset
If you don’t find a template you like, you can begin with a Blank Document Preset and customize details in the New Document window.
Tip: Click View All Presets to see the complete set.
Select a preset and change details like page orientation and number of artboards. Click More Settings if you need to change the artboard arrangement or bleed. When you’re done, click Create.
Make it your own design
Once you open the Simple Business Card template, you can edit it as you wish.
Note: If the Missing Fonts window appears, click Activate Fonts to use the same fonts in the template. You can always change the fonts later.
In our example, we customized the business card template with our own text, a different color palette, and added fonts from Adobe Fonts. Open the supplied sample file — illustrator-templates_Practice.ai file — to see our edits.

What else can you create? Search Adobe Stock for more templates, mockups, icon sets, and visual designs. Choose File > New and in the New Document window, type a search term and click Go.
Note: To view all Illustrator templates on the Adobe Stock site, simply click Go without typing a search term.
On the Adobe Stock site, click the View Panel button at the top to refine your search using criteria like Most Popular or Undiscovered Content. When you find a template you like, license and download it to your computer.
