Radial repeat
- With artwork selected, choose Radial repeat from the Repeat menu in the taskbar. Selected artwork is repeated around a circle.
- The artwork has several widgets for adjusting space between, position, the number of times the artwork is repeated, and where the artwork starts and ends on the path.
- Drag a corner of the bounding box surrounding the repeat object to scale the radial repeat object proportionally, by default.
Grid repeat
- With artwork selected, choose Grid repeat from the Repeat menu in the taskbar. Selected artwork is repeated in a horizontal and vertical grid.
- Double-tap any of the repeated elements in the grid to edit the artwork. You can transform, add, delete, and change the appearance of the artwork.
- Drag the handle on the right side of the grid to add or remove horizontal repeats.
- Drag the handle on the bottom of the grid to add or remove vertical repeats.
- There are two widgets along the top edge and two along the left edge. The widgets on the top edge control the positioning of the artwork grid in the bounding box and the distance between the columns horizontally. The widgets on the left edge control the positioning of the artwork grid in the bounding box and the distance between the rows vertically.
- Drag a corner of the bounding box surrounding the repeat object to scale the repeat grid proportionally, by default.
Mirror repeat
- With artwork selected, choose Mirror repeat from the Repeat menu in the taskbar. Selected artwork is copied and flipped, mirroring the selected artwork.
- Drag the widget on the axis beneath the artwork to move the mirror repeat closer or farther from the original artwork.
- Drag the topmost or bottommost widget on the axis to rotate the mirrored artwork.
- To see the axis and widgets for editing the repeat, deselect and then double-tap the artwork.
- Drag a corner of the bounding box surrounding the repeat object to scale the original artwork and mirror repeat proportionally, by default.
