Acrobat scroll framework upgrades for macOS

In line with the new macOS guidelines, we've revamped the Acrobat scrolling framework for Mac in the September '23 release. Transitioning from NSView to NSScrollView, this foundational shift affects the Mac user interface behavior. It offers a modern scroll experience that appears while in use and eliminates extra space needs. Key changes include:

  • Split view update: To view the PDF in Split mode, navigate to Windows® > Split. The earlier method of accessing split from the top of the vertical scroll bar is discontinued.

  • Horizontal scrolling: Users with a scroll-enabled mouse must combine the Shift + mouse wheel for horizontal scrolling.

  • Page dimensions display: Previously located at the far left of the horizontal scroll bar, you can now view page dimensions by hovering your mouse over the lower-left corner of the page.

Page dimensions appear at the lower left corner of the screen upon mouse hover
