CQ5.3: How to Customize the Login Screen

How do we customize the CQ5 login screen?

Answer, Resolution

1. Mount the CQ5 repository via WebDAV
2. Browse to /libs/cq/core/content/login/ and modify the files you wish to customize
   • loginbg.jpg is the background image
   • loginbox.png is the floating box behind the username and password boxes
   • favicon.ico is the favorite icon used by CQ5

Note: Currently, in CQ5.3 you must modify these files under /libs. In CQ5.4 you will be able to create an overlay under /apps/cq/core/content/login instead.
