Change log level in publish instance

You want to change the log level of a logger in the publish instance. You do not have the development environment installed in publish.

Solution

Use the JMX interface to change log levels of loggers:

1. Connect to your JMX interface (default: http://yourpublishIP:8190).
2. Click the "name=com.day.cq.engine.services.LogService" link under "com.day.cq.core."
3. Use the "setLogLevel" button by specifying the logger and the log level. For example: logger: contentbus.authenticator, level: DEBUG
