#29271 - Anonymous access denied on publish

Issue

After upgrading a CQ5.2.x publish instance to CQ5.3, anonymous access to public content does not work anymore. Following INFO message is logged instead:

*INFO* [127.0.0.1 [1279546602265] GET /content/geometrixx/en.html HTTP/1.0] 
       org.apache.sling.commons.auth.impl.SlingAuthenticator getAnonymousSession: 
           Anonymous access not allowed by configuration - requesting credentials. 

Cause

This is caused by a Sling issue SLING-1508.

Resolution

This issue is fixed by CQ5.3 hotfix package #29271. Please raise a DayCare ticket to obtain this package.
