Asset Downloads report not working

The Asset Downloads report in the Asset Reporting UI [1] isn't displaying any results.

Environment

AEM 6.0, 6.1, 6.2, 6.3

Cause

There is a missing OSGi configuration.

Resolution

For the Asset Downloads reporting to work properly, the event recorder OSGi configuration has to be enabled:

1. Go to  http://host:port/system/console/configMgr/com.day.cq.dam.core.impl.DamEventRecorderImpl
2. Click Enables this service check box.
3. Enable the Asset downloaded (DOWNLOADED) check box.
4. Click Save.
