InDesign crashes after a third-party extension is uninstalled or disabled | macOS

On macOS, InDesign crashes on launch after you uninstall or disable a third-party extension that works with InDesign 2022 (version 17.0).

Follow the steps below:

1. Exit InDesign.

2. Delete the InDesign cache folder from your machine.
Cache location: /Users/[User Name]/Library/Caches/Adobe InDesign/Version 17.0.
3. Re-launch InDesign.
