Use the Creative Cloud Express app to add creative templates to a PDF

You can launch the Creative Cloud Express app from Acrobat to add custom templates to a PDF when organizing pages or combining files. You can choose from thousands of templates and customize the content to create engaging PDFs.

Note:

This feature is being rolled out incrementally and may not be available to all users.

Add a page template from the Organize Pages tool

  1. Open a PDF in Acrobat and click Organize Pages in the right pane.

  2. On the Organize Pages toolbar, click Insert from template.

  3. Choose the template you want to add as a PDF page, and then click Insert at the top-right corner of
    the window.

  4. A dialog is displayed informing you that a corresponding project is saved in the Creative Cloud
    Express app. Click Continue.

  5. A dialog is displayed informing you that your project is being published.

    Once done, the template is added as a PDF page. To make any changes to the added page, click Edit.

    The page opens the Creative Cloud Express app from Acrobat to let you make edits. When finished
    with your changes, click Insert.

    Note:

    Once you save your PDF, you can't edit the added page by opening the Creative Cloud Express
    app from Acrobat.

  6. Click Close, and then save your PDF.

  1. Open a PDF in Acrobat and click Combine Files in the right pane.

  2. On the Combine Files toolbar, click Insert from template.

  3. Choose the template you want to add as a PDF page, and then click Insert at the top-right corner of
    the window.

  4. A dialog is displayed informing you that a corresponding project is saved in the Creative Cloud
    Express app. Click Continue.

  5. A dialog is displayed informing you that your project is being published.

    Once done, the template is added as a PDF page. To make any changes to the added page, click Edit.

    Note:

    Once you save your PDF, you can't edit the added page by opening the Creative Cloud Express
    app from Acrobat.

  6. Click Combine, and then save your PDF.

  1. Open a PDF in Acrobat and click Page Thumbnails in the left pane.

  2. Right-click between the pages where you want to insert a page and choose Insert from Template.

  3. Choose the template you want to add as a PDF page, and then click Insert at the top-right corner of
    the window.

  4. A dialog is displayed informing you that a corresponding project is saved in the Creative Cloud
    Express app. Click Continue.
