With this release, the export panel in Bridge supports image export to DNG, TIFF, and PNG, in addition to JPEG. You can now export images in batches to DNG, TIFF, and PNG. You can also create presets to save your export settings and speed up your workflows.

To access the export panel, do the following:

1. Go to Window from the menu bar and select Export Panel. 
2. In the Export panel, you can use the Custom Export or Create New Preset options to export your assets from Bridge.
3. In the Export dialog that opens, under Image Format, choose your desired image format to export — JPEG, DNG, TIFF, and PNG.

Other enhancements

Resize images based on short edge

In addition to the long edge, you can now resize images based on the short edge in the Export panel.

To access the image resize option, open the Export panel preset dialog and navigate to Image Size > Constrain to Fit. Choose Long or Short based on your requirement.

Show or hide transparency

You now have an option to turn on the transparency of thumbnails in the content panel.

To view transparency in your assets, do any of the following:

• Go to Edit > Preferences > Thumbnails (Windows) or Adobe Bridge > Preferences > Thumbnails (macOS), and select Show Transparency.
• Click the thumbnail quality () icon in the upper-right corner of the content panel. Select Show Transparency from the drop-down menu.

Color settings scripting support

Scripting support is added for deploying and managing the color settings across Adobe apps.

Following are the APIs being added to the Bridge scripting:

• app.getColorSetting – Gets current color settings.
• app.colorSettingsList – Gives the list of available color settings.
• app.setColorSetting() – Takes the color settings file path as argument to set color setting.
