Cannot save files in Adobe LiveCycle Designer on Windows | LiveCycle 7.0

Issue

When you choose either File > Save or File > Save As in Adobe LiveCycle Designer, your changes aren't saved or the Save As dialog box doesn't appear.

Detail

The target folder location for the My Documents folder is the root directory of a local or mapped drive (for example, C:\).

Solution 1: Change the target folder location for the My Documents folder.

Specify a subfolder on the hard disk as the target folder location (for example, C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\My Documents or D:\My Documents).

To change the target folder:

1. Right-click the My Documents folder on the desktop.

2. Choose Properties from the menu.

3. Do one of the following:

-- Click Restore Default.

-- Click Move, select a folder as the new location of the My Documents folder, and then click OK.

4. Click OK to close the Properties window.

5. Click OK to copy files from the old My Documents folder to the new folder.

Solution 2: Install Adobe Designer 7.1.
