Overview
Adobe Acrobat Sign enables you to electronically sign documents and forms, send them to others to obtain their electronic signatures, monitor responses in real time, and acquire signatures immediately through in-person signing. It also offers the convenience of working offline and automatically synchronizes your work when you regain an internet connection.

New updates
- Support for enabling Push notifications
iOS mobile users can now enable push notifications in their Acrobat Sign app. These notifications keep users informed about new documents requiring their attention and also notify senders when documents are signed, rejected, or completed. If desired, users can disable push notifications through their device settings.
- Added Support for choosing local documents
We've introduced a new menu option called "Browse more files" on the Add Documents screen. This menu allows you to access all supported file types stored on your device. Unlike the "Documents on Device" option, these files don't need to be initially opened and saved within the Acrobat Sign Mobile app.
- Clarity in Document's location name
To avoid confusion between "Documents on Device" and "Browse more Files," we've changed the name of "Documents on Device" to "Saved In App."
- Enhanced Security for IMS API URLs
To enhance the security of IMS APIs, we've made a significant change. We've replaced query parameters with POST body parameters. This ensures that sensitive information like secrets, tokens, and passwords is no longer included in the URLs.
- Transition to V6 APIs
To ensure a smoother and more efficient app experience, we've upgraded all the APIs in use from version V5 to V6. This transition not only enhances the quality and performance of the app but also resolves some lingering issues that the app encountered in the past.
- Enhanced Consistency in Document Library Support
Previously, the Acrobat Sign iOS app allowed attaching documents from the Document Library to attachment fields during the signing process, even though this resulted in errors. To align with the process in Acrobat Sign web, we have disabled this feature now.
This feature is available on iOS versions 15 and above for users managed on the Adobe Admin Console.
