Import assets into Aero

Learn how to import assets into Adobe Aero desktop or Adobe Aero mobile (iOS).

Before you begin

It's always best to optimize assets before importing them into Adobe Aero. See instructions on how to prepare Dimension, Photoshop, and Illustrator assets. You may also want to learn about preparing 3D content for Adobe Aero.

Importing assets into Adobe Aero mobile (iOS)

  1. Save the file that you want to import in a location accessible from your mobile device such as Creative Cloud.
  2. Select the blue plus (+) button while in Edit mode.
  3. Navigate to where your file is located and and select it.
  4. Once the file is imported Tap to Place it in the scene.

Importing assets into Adobe Aero desktop

 

There are four ways to import your assets into Adobe Aero desktop:

  1. Choose File > Import from the menu
  2. Click the + icon in the upper-left corner.
  3. Use the keyboard shortcut (Cmd+I for Mac and Ctrl+I on computer).
  4. Drag-and-drop a file into the viewport.
Use File > Import to add asset to Adobe Aero.
