What you learned
Make objects transparent
When you adjust the opacity of an object stacked on top of another, you affect how see-through it is. Explore changing the opacity for different overlapping objects, such as individual shapes and grouped art.
Apply a blending mode to alter contrast or boost vibrance
A blending mode lets you vary how the colors of stacked objects interact with each other. For example, you can make overlapping areas darker or lighter or show greater color contrast.
Practice with our sample art
You can apply blending modes and opacity changes to the artwork. After creating a complex shape in a snap, get a feel for each blending mode.
