Integrate SiteCatalyst and AEM so that you can track your page activity SiteCatalyst. A SiteCatalyst configuration enables AEM to authenticate with SiteCatalyst. A framework identifies the data that is sent to your SiteCatalyst report suite. The data includes page and user data that AEM components collect, link clicks, and video usage information. The framework also causes AEM to retrieve the number of page visits from SiteCatalyst.
You can also use the Opt-in wizard to easily perform the integration.
For information about developing components that collect user data and customizing the SiteCatalyst framework, see Extending the SiteCatalyst Integration.
For information about troubleshooting your SiteCatalyst integration, see SiteCatalyst integration troubleshooting issues.
If you are using Analytics with a custom proxy configuration, you need to configure both HTTP Client proxy configurations as some functionalities of AEM are using the 3.x APIs and some others the 4.x APIs:
- 3.x is configured with http://localhost:4502/system/console/configMgr/com.day.commons.httpclient
- 4.x is configured with http://localhost:4502/system/console/configMgr/org.apache.http.proxyconfigurator
