Objective
How to troubleshoot event based MSM rollouts. This includes the following event types:
- On Activation
- On Deactivation
- On Modification
Environment
AEM
Steps
- Go to http://host:port/system/console/slinglog
- Click Add New Logger
- Set it with this configuration:
Log Level: Debug
Log File: logs/msm.log
Loggers:
com.day.cq.wcm.msm.impl.MSMEventProcessor
com.day.cq.wcm.msm.impl.actions.ActionManagerImpl
com.day.cq.wcm.msm.impl.actions.AccessControlActionFactory - A successful log message after rollout on modify event should be similar to the one below:
