Adobe acquired Mettle SkyBox 360/VR plug-ins on June 21, 2017. These plug-ins are currently available as part of the CC 2018 version of Creative Cloud released on October 18, 2017. To access these plug-ins in Premiere Pro, select Effects > Video Effects > Immersive Video or Effects and Presets > Immersive Video in After Effects. To know more about this, see Immersive Video.
If you have an older version of After Effects or Premiere Pro and want to complete existing projects, Mettle SkyBox plug-ins continue to work until April 2018. To download these plug-ins, follow the instructions below.

Note:
Update your GPU drivers before installing SkyBox plug-ins, directly from the vendor site (NVIDIA, AMD and so on). This is recommended to enable smooth VR workflows while using these plug-ins.
For Premiere Pro CC 2017:
- Windows: C:\Program Files\ADOBE\Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017\Plug-Ins\Common. VR Player is installed at C:\Program Files\ADOBE\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCore\Mettle.
- macOS: MAC HD > Applications>Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018 > Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018.app. Right click and select Show package content > Plug-ins > Common.VR Player is installed at MAC HD > Library > Application Support > ADOBE > Common/Plug ins > 7.0 > MediaCore > Mettle.
For After Effects CC 2017:
- Windows: C:\Program Files\ADOBE\Adobe After Effects CC 2017\Support Files\Plug-ins\Effects.
- macOS: MAC HD > Applications > Adobe After Effects CC 2017 > Plug-ins > Effects > Mettle.
Note:
For CC 2018, VR player is not installed within MediaCore anymore.
