Issue

PNGs that are 32x32 pixels aren't centered in widgets like RollOverIconButtonWidget in InDesign CC.

Solution

In InDesign CC, due to architectural changes, to center icons in widgets, make sure that the widget size is larger than the image size. So, either increase the size of the widget to fit a 32x32 image, or clip the PNG files to 16x16 pixels.

Additional information

While porting plug-ins from InDesign CS6 to InDesign CC with the kADBEIconSuiteButtonType, there are often problems reported for icons not centered in the widget. This issue happens most when the PNG files are 32x32 pixels.

In Design CS6 and earlier, icons stretched to fit into the widget window.
