Open Lightroom on your device and either take two new photos by tapping the camera icon in the lower right, or tap the Add Photos button in the lower right to choose two photos saved on your device. Choose a photo to use as a background and a picture of handwritten text to use as a title.
Tap Add Photos when you're done.
Tip: If you want to re-create Lidia Gulyas' work, download the Into the Wild library and copy it to your Creative Cloud account.
Select the background photo and tap Edit. From the adjustments along the bottom part of the interface, tap Light and then drag the Exposure slider to increase the brightness of the image to +1.50. Then increase the Contrast to +90.
Tap the back arrow (<) at the top of the screen to return to your library.
Now, select the image of handwritten text you added to Lightroom on your mobile device in Step 1.
Tap Edit again, then tap Color, and then B&W to convert to black and white. Now tap on Light. Increase highlights and whites to +100, and reduce shadows and blacks to -100.
When you're done, tap the back arrow (<) at the top of the screen to return to your library.
In the All Photos view, tap the three dots in the upper right and choose Add To. Then tap on the background image and the handwritten text image to select them.
Tap on the forward arrow in the upper right (>) and choose an existing album, or tap the plus in the upper right to create a new album.
Placing the photos for this project in an album will make them easier to access in Photoshop Mix.
Open Photoshop Mix on your device and tap the + symbol to create a new project.
Tap Image, and then tap Lightroom and select the album where you saved the background photo and the handwritten text photo in Step 4. Tap the photo to select it and then tap Open.
Next you'll add a title to your background photo by adding the handwritten text photo on a new layer.
Tap the + icon above the background layer thumbnail. Tap Image, and then tap Lightroom and choose the album where you saved the handwritten text photo in Step 4. Tap the photo to select it and then tap Open to add the photo as a new layer.
Tap the thumbnail for the title image layer. Then tap Blend from the bottom of your screen, and select Multiply. This will make the top image transparent.
Tap the checkmark when you're done.
Drag the title image to position it and then pinch out or in to resize it so it fits in the center of the background.
Now that you have your image set up, you can crop it to make the title stand out. Tap the Crop icon in the upper left, then select Free. Drag the white handles at the top and bottom of the image to crop the canvas.
When you're done, tap the check icon at the bottom right of the screen.
Tap the share icon then tap Image, and then tap Instagram.
Tip: From the Share menu you can also tap Open in Photoshop to add some finishing touches on your desktop.
