When mapping a segment to a Destination I select a date in the calendar widget and save but the date reverts to the previous day, why?

I select a date in the calendar widget and save but the date reverts to the previous day, why?

While this is a confusing interface practice, it is working as designed. For the current date, UI needs to pass 23:59 UTC to the API.

Please note that it does not affect any AAM functions whatsoever.
