What is Adobe Experience Platform?

Adobe Experience Platform is an open and extensible platform that helps customers stitch data across the enterprise – powering real-time customer profiles that can be enhanced through data science and managed through data governance to drive personalized experiences.

Adobe Experience Platform: Product limitations

Adobe Experience Platform is an open and extensible platform that helps customers stitch data across the enterprise – powering real-time customer profiles that can be enhanced through data science and managed through data governance to drive personalized experiences.

Customer’s use of Adobe Experience Platform is subject to the following:

Scoping Parameters.

The following Scoping Parameters apply to Customer’s Adobe Experience Platform production purposes, without Add-ons:

  • Profiles.  Customer may store and process up to the number of Profiles authorized in the Sales Order.
  • Average Profile Richness.  Customer’s Average Profile Richness may be less than or equal to 600 kilobytes per Profile.
  • Batch Segmentation Jobs.  Customer may process up to 175 Batch Segmentation Jobs per year.

  • Monthly Data Scanned or Written.  Customer may Scan/Write up to 2 megabytes of data per Profile per month.
  • Profile Activation.  Customer may process up to 5 Profile Activation API Calls per Profile per year (i.e., Customer is entitled to make an aggregate number of Profile Activation API Call per year equivalent to 5 * the number of Profiles licensed in the Sales Order (e.g., 5 * 1,000,000 Profiles = an entitlement to make an aggregate of 5 million Profile Activation API Calls per year).

Performance Guardrails.

The following Performance Guardrails apply to Customer’s Adobe Experience Platform production purposes, without Add-ons:

  • Concurrent Ad-hoc Queries.  Adobe Experience Platform supports up to 1 concurrent Ad-hoc Query across all Query Users.
  • Concurrent Notebooks.  Adobe Experience Platform supports up to 5 concurrent Notebooks.
  • Notebooks.  Adobe Experience Platform provides Users accessing a Notebook with up to:
    • 32 CPU Cores and 256 gigabytes of RAM of total CPU capacity across all Notebooks;

  • Profiles. Customer may store up to the number of Profiles authorized in the Sales Order.
  • Data ingestion. Customer may ingest Customer Data from Adobe Experience Platform into Customer Journey Analytics App Service in an amount equal to authorized Total Production Storage during each year of the License Term. For example, if 1 million Profiles are contracted and the authorized Average Profiles Richness is 600 kB, the amount of Customer Data that may be ingested into Customer Journey Analytics Application Service is 1 million times 600 kB = 600 million kB or 600 GB which would be the authorized Total Production Storage. If Customer ingests additional Customer Data greater than the authorized Total Production Storage into Customer Journey Analytics App Service or licenses Richness Packs for its Adobe Experience Platform deployment, then Customer will be required to purchase Customer Journey Analytics Capacity Pack(s).

Performance Guardrails:
