Acrobat Standard supports the OCR modes Searchable Image and Searchable Image and Text. It does not support the OCR mode Editable Text and Images on scanned documents.

Acrobat Pro supports three modes of OCR on scanned documents:

• Searchable Image
• Searchable Image and Text
• Editable Text and Images
