The 64-bit Acrobat application offers:

• Increased memory availability
• Enhanced performance
• Improved responsiveness

Third-party plug-ins

• Existing 32-bit plug-ins built with Acrobat SDK work on the 32-bit version of Acrobat.
• To function with 64-bit Acrobat, these plug-ins must be upgraded to 64-bit. Users must contact the third-party vendor to request a 64-bit version of the plug-in.
• When adding a third-party plugin in new Acrobat, you must relaunch the application for the plugin to appear in the All Tools panel.
• Third-party plugins may not automatically appear when switching between classic and new Acrobat. Relaunch Acrobat to see the plugins in the All Tools panel after switching views.
