Click the Creative Cloud icon in the taskbar (Windows) or menu bar (macOS). Then, click Assets and choose Market.
Browse by category such as User Interfaces, Vectors, Icons, Patterns, or Brushes. Or, if you know exactly what you’re looking for, click the search icon and type a keyword. In this example, you want to create a custom tote bag, so type tote.
When you find an asset you'd like to use — the tote bag — click the cloud icon to download it. Choose My Library as the download location.
Next, to decorate the bag, type octopus in the search field and repeat the process to download the Octopus asset to My Library.
Market assets are free for all paid Creative Cloud members. Once downloaded, the assets are synced to your Creative Cloud Library for use with your Adobe mobile and desktop apps.
In Adobe Photoshop, choose Window > Libraries to open your Creative Cloud Library. Make sure you are in the library named My Library.
In the Graphics section, you’ll see your newly downloaded assets. Double-click the Tote Bag asset to open it.
Choose Window > Layers to open the Layers panel, and then click the expansion triangle next to the Mock folder to reveal the elements that make up the bag’s design.
From My Library, drag the Octopus asset to the Layers panel and drop it just above the Placeholder layer. Drag the image’s corner handles to resize it, and drag from its center to reposition it. Press Return to place the asset.
To make the octopus orange, select the Octopus layer and choose Layer > Layer Style > Color Overlay. Set the Opacity to 100% and click the color swatch to bring up the Color Picker. Move the pointer over the image and click an orange portion of the text logo. Click OK to set the color, and then click OK again to apply the overlay.
Lastly, click the visibility toggle for the Placeholder layer to make it invisible, and then save the file (choose File > Save). The Octopus vector is applied to the tote bag, resulting in a perfectly crafted professional mockup.
Market assets are customizable and royalty free, so you can make them your own and include them in personal, professional, and commercial projects.
