If you are an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Brand Portal administrator, you can share a folder with other users after it has been published to Brand Portal from AEM Assets.

  1. Log in to Brand Portal as an administrator. 

  2. From the Brand Portal interface, select the published folder you want to share with other users.

  3. From the toolbar, select the Share icon.

    The Share Settings dialog is displayed.

  4. In the Folder Title box, specify a share name for the folder. By default, the box displays the current folder name. Leave it unchanged if you want the same name to be displayed to users.

  5. From the Add User list, select the user or group with which you want to share the folder in Brand Portal and click Add.

  6. If necessary, click Change Thumbnail to modify the thumbnail image for the folder.

  7. Click Save.

  8. To access the shared folder, log in to Brand Portal with the credentials of the user you shared the folder with. Review the shared folder in the interface.

Unsharing folders

As a Brand Portal administrator, you can unshare folders that you previously shared with non-administrator users using the Share Settings dialog.

  1. From the Brand Portal interface, select the asset folder you want to unshare.

  2. From the toolbar, select the Share icon.

  3. From the Share Settings dialog, under Members, click the (X) symbol beside a user to remove the user from the list of users you shared the folder with.

  4. In the warning message, click Confirm to confirm your action.

  5. Log in to Brand Portal with the credentials of the user you removed from the shared list. The folder is no longer available in the Brand Portal interface for the user.
