“I love Chicago in the winter. The city has a totally different energy to it. And with the right coat, you can experience the town with no one else around. Our favorite place is the park. From there, you can forget that you are in one of the busiest cities in the world. Just a short walk from the bird sanctuary and you arrive at the harbor: one of best views in the midwest. It couldn’t be more romantic.
This morning we woke up early to go on a walk, and I got some great shots of her.”
Cuts to over the shoulder shot of Aaron editing the image, adding the bird, finalizing image.
- First I opened Photoshop Mix and imported the image
- Next I browsed the Adobe Stock collection right from the app, and loaded the illustration right into my image as a layer
- Using the cutout tool, I zoomed in and removed the white background around the bird
- It even worked with small detail, I zoomed in and used my brush to be more accurate
- When the composite was done in Mix, I synced it with my Lightroom Catalog
Shots of Aaron moving from mobile app to Lightroom Desktop and opening synced collection.
- When I got to my desk, I applied color presets in Lightroom
- Then I opened the print dialog in Lightroom
- I hit print in Lightroom
Final picture prints out of printer (made into card), Aaron picks it up, gives it to Katie, Katie smiles
“It was perfect. I knew she would love it. I turned it into a card for her. Best morning date ever.”
