Enabling Advanced Account Sharing feature - Adobe Sign

Advanced sharing makes it possible for administrators and users to delegate their send, modify, and view permissions to an alternate user or users. Adobe Sign support must enable the Advanced Account Sharing feature for your account.

Environment

Adobe Sign with Advanced Sharing feature enabled.

Steps

  1. Hover mouse over your name and select “My Profile”.

  2. Go to Personal Preferences.

  3. Scroll down to Sharing Status.

  4. You find two Sharing Status options.

    Share My Account

    • If you need to share account, click “My Account Shared with” and click ‘+’ icon on right side.
    • Provide the email address of user and select permissions as needed.
    • User would receive email to approve. (Account admins won’t need to wait for approval)


    View Others Account

    • If you need to view other user’s account, click “Shared With me” and click ‘+’ icon on right side.
    • Provide the email address of user and select permissions as needed.
    • User would receive email to approve. (Account admins won’t need to wait for approval)

  5. You can select users from the Group created as well.

  6. Once the sharing is enabled, you can hover over your name and select “Switch Account” and select email to view other user’s Manage tab.

  7. Select the user’s email address with whom sharing is active.

  8. The Manage tab view would be of the user whose account you are viewing and as per the permissions provided, you can perform necessary actions as well.

Additional information

Enabling the Advanced Share Mode is a one-way switch. Once Advance Sharing has been enabled, there is NO WAY to revert to the legacy share mode.

By default, the Advanced Sharing Mode allows you to "View" shared users, however, you want to submit a support ticket to request allowing the 'Send & Modify' permissions as well.
