Automatically reframe your video projects for all your social media apps.
Publishing your content to multiple social platforms
You are likely to share some or all of your content on more than one social platform. You might share snippets of new content to announce full versions on your primary platform, or perhaps you’ll share everything you create on multiple platforms to maximize your reach.
Changing aspect ratio and reframing your shots
To deliver a project as widescreen, square, and vertical video, you’ll reframe the shots so that important visual elements are positioned correctly onscreen.
For example, if you are presenting to camera, standing on one side of the shot, you’ll want to stay in the frame and not disappear when you crop the edges for the square version.
Reframing in Premiere Pro
In Adobe Premiere Pro, you’ll combine several parts of your original video in a sequence. Sequences have format settings that you can change at any time, and these include an aspect ratio. When you change the aspect ratio for a sequence, the edges of your content may be cropped out of the new frame that you have set.
If you were sharing an interview, this might mean your subject is partially chopped off by the edge of the frame.
Premiere Pro can analyze your content and automatically reposition important visual elements so that they stay in the frame.
Once automatic reframing is complete, you can adjust the settings to get exactly the positioning you want. You can even animate the position to draw attention to particular details in the shot. This is useful if you want to show more one person in a shot and they are on different sides of the screen.
