Adobe Photoshop Sketch and Illustrator Draw will be discontinued for iOS and Android and will no longer be available for download, starting July 19th, 2021. Existing users can continue using the apps until January 10, 2022. For a seamless and interruption-free experience, easily migrate to Fresco with all your assets intact.

No, the apps will not be removed but they will stop working. You can continue to use Photoshop Sketch and Illustrator Draw until January 10th, 2022 after which you will not be able to sign in. Adobe will not be adding any new features or updates to these apps. That means things could go wrong, so we encourage you to migrate to Adobe Fresco and download your artwork from there to ensure you create without interruption.

No, anyone can enjoy Adobe Fresco for free and create beautiful artwork with powerful tools. For those who want to take their creations further, Adobe Fresco offers premium features which include quarterly brush updates and access to Photoshop on the iPad. 

All your artwork and projects will continue to be available in Photoshop Sketch and Illustrator Draw. Log into Fresco with the same Adobe ID that you used to create in Sketch and Draw. Your previous Sketch and Draw projects will appear automatically so you can keep working.

You can also log into assets.adobe.com at any time to access and manage all your content from Adobe, including artwork that were made in Sketch and Draw.

We plan to end official support for existing users on January 10, 2022. Please make sure to migrate all your projects to Adobe Fresco, or download your artwork from there so you have a copy. After this date, Adobe will focus on supporting Adobe Fresco.

You can log in to Adobe Fresco on iOS or Windows and access all your artwork, which automatically migrates when you use the same Adobe ID. Once you log in, the migration starts. It may take some time depending on how much artwork you have.

A new folder is created for both Adobe Sketch and Adobe Draw artwork. From there, your artwork can be accessed and you can continue creating in Adobe Fresco, export a PNG or JPG, or a PSD with layers. 

Adobe Fresco is not on Android and is available on iOS and Windows. Fresco might be brought to more platforms in the future. We suggest that you migrate to Adobe Fresco and back up all your projects from Sketch or Draw to your device or a storage location as a precaution.

Here's what you can do:

Download your artwork from Sketch and Draw: You can access your PSD and Ai files which include layers and save them to your device or desired storage location. 

NOTE: Adobe Sketch and Adobe Draw will be decommissioned after January 10th, 2022, post which you cannot sign in to these apps. After this date, you can do the following:

  • Access all your Adobe content by logging into assets.adobe.com with your Adobe ID. Artwork made in Sketch and Draw will show up in the Mobile Creations tab. Select any project, click the three dots for options, and you can download a PNG or JPG of your artwork. You can also choose Convert to Fresco to migrate any single piece of artwork. 
  • Migrate to Adobe Fresco: Log into Adobe Fresco on iOS or Windows and access all your artwork. Once you log in, the migration starts. It may take some time, depending on how much artwork you have. A new folder is created for both Adobe Sketch and Adobe Draw artwork. From there, your artwork is accessible, and you can continue creating in Adobe Fresco, export a PNG or JPG, or a PSD with layers. You can also send the file to Adobe Illustrator. 

Using the same Adobe ID for Sketch and Draw, log into Adobe Fresco on iOS or Windows. The migration of your artwork will start and may take some time, depending on how much artwork you have. A new folder will be created for both Adobe Sketch and Adobe Draw artwork. From there, your artwork is accessible. You can open the artwork and continue creating in Adobe Fresco for free. You can also choose to export a PNG or JPG, or a PSD with layers of your Adobe Sketch and Adobe Draw artwork. 

After January 10th, 2022 you will not be able to sign in to Adobe Sketch or Adobe Draw. After this date, you can use the following methods to access your artwork:

  • Access all your Adobe content by logging into assets.adobe.com with your Adobe ID. Artwork made in Sketch and Draw will show up in the Mobile Creations tab. Select any project, click the three dots for options, and you can download a PNG or JPG of your artwork. You can also choose Convert to Fresco to migrate any single piece of artwork.
