Adobe Analytics and Microsoft Power BI


How to Integrate the Adobe Analytics Applications with the Power BI Data Analysis solution?


To integrate Adobe Analytics with Power BI, below are the prerequisites:

  1. The user must have the Analytics linked with the Adobe ID (Post User ID Migration, the user must have access to Analytics via the Experience Cloud Admin Console).
  2. The user must be a part of the Web Services Access group in case the account type is non admin user and not an admin user.
  3. The email address across all three solutions must be the same.
  4. The ID Type within the Experience Cloud must be Adobe ID and not Enterprise ID.

Steps to Connect Adobe Analytics with Power BI:

  1. Select Apps in the left navigation pane > select Get apps in the upper-right corner.

  2. In AppSource, select the Apps tab, and search for the service you want.

  3. Select required Adobe Analytics App > Get it now.

  4. Power BI connects to a specific Adobe Analytics Company and Report Suite ID (not the Report Suite name).

  5. For Authentication Method, select oAuth2 > Sign In. When prompted, enter your Adobe Analytics credentials.

  6. Click Accept to allow Power BI to access your Adobe Analytics data. After you approve, the import process begins automatically. 

View the Adobe Analytics dashboard and reports:

Once the import is completed, the new app appears on the Apps page.

  1. Standard Adobe Analytics
  2. Adobe Analytics Mobile App Analysis
  3. Adobe Analytics Traffic Analysis
