Last updated on 25 Feb 2026

Learn how to link a brand as a reference to your projects, allowing brands to be reused across multiple projects.

Link from Projects

On the Adobe Express homepage, select Your stuff from the left panel.

Select Projects, and then select a project to link your brands.

Select the link brands   icon in the Project info panel.

Adobe Express Projects section open showing the "Projects info" panel. The panel highlights the option to "Link brands."
The Project info panel shows your brands linked to that project.

Select the brand you want to add in the Browse brands panel, and then select Link to connect them.

In the Update permissions dialog box, select Keep current permissions to retain the current brand restrictions or Update to share the brand with everyone in the organization.

Note
  • When you add a brand as a reference, it does not inherit the project’s permissions. Access is controlled at the brand level and is limited to collaborators added in the brand’s sharing settings. Learn more about how to share brands
  • When a project is shared with everyone in the organization, that access automatically applies to any brands and libraries within the project. Learn more about sharing projects.
  • When a linked brand is deleted, it’s automatically unlinked from all other brands. If a brand is saved within a project, deleting the project also deletes the brand.

To unlink a brand from a project, select the three-dot   icon next to the brand name, then select Unlink brand from project.

In the confirmation dialog, select Unlink to complete the action.
