Unable to replace certain assets

Even though the user has enough permissions to delete and upload assets, they are unable to replace assets.  When they do so, the error [1] below is logged.

Environment

AEM Assets 6.0, 6.1 or 6.2

Cause

The issue is caused by this bug OAK-5931

Resolution

This issue will be fixed in a future version of AEM.  For now, the workaround is to delete the assets and upload them again.
