Supported file formats FAQ | Scene7

Answers to frequently asked questions about what file formats Scene7 supports, and how it handles various formats.

You can upload progressive JPEG into SPS, and also serve it via the Image Server since 2015

The standard (baseline) and optimized (baseline optimized) settings provides the same image quality. But, the optimized format provides a 2%-8% reduction of the image file size, so this is the better option.

Scene7 added support for returning progressive JPEG in 2015. You can use the command fmt=pjpeg for this.
