Is there a particular use case for using SVG (scalable vector graphics) output over FXG (Flash XML graphics)?
Solution
Adobe recommends using FXG, which is part of the Web2Print solution.
Currently, support for SVG is limited. You can upload an SVG file to Scene7 Publishing System (SPS) and serve it as a rasterized image.
Neither IS or W2P support setting the output format to SVG ( &fmt= ).
When an SVG image is called in Image Serving, the output format is JPEG by default, IS ignores wid/hei, but does respect the scl parameter:
