Learn more about how brand colors and fonts are applied to your design so you can get results that delight you faster.
Apply Colors
When you select Apply brand, the colors are applied to match your design most closely.
- Multiple color palettes: If you have multiple color palettes, the colors are chosen from the ones set as your Primary palette. Learn how to set roles on brand elements.
- No color palette: If you have no color palette, colors are chosen from your color swatches. Learn how to add color palettes.
Apply Fonts
When you select Apply brand, the font labeled with the Heading role to the largest text on the page and your body font to the rest. You can use the icon to try different combinations. Learn how to set roles on brand elements.
Best practices
- Create a Primary color palette specifically for use with the Apply brand feature. Include white and black—these are common but often overlooked colors.
- Set Heading and Body roles for your fonts to apply your fonts consistently across designs.
- Lock elements that you don’t want recolored. Locking an element in a design prevents its color and size from changing.
- To apply and shuffle a non-primary palette, use the Theme panel in the editor.
