CQ5.2.X: Links with spaces marked invalid

Symptoms

Spaces and special characters in a link cause the link to be marked invalid by the linkchecker

Resolution

Escape all your links like this: org.apache.jackrabbit.util.Text.escape(internalLink, '%', true);

This will be fully resolved in CQ5.3
