Error "Unable to complete your request" | Calling FXG | Scene7

Issue

The following error occurs when you call an FXG at a certain size:

"Unable to complete your request. Please check trace logs"

The FXG works fine at smaller sizes.

Solution

This error indicates that you are running into an image size limit on Adobe's servers.

Do one or more of the following:

  • Set the maximum image size limit to 4000 x 4000 in your SPS IS Publish settings, then save and publish.
  • Decrease the size of the embedded images in the FXG. After replacing this file, update the height and width values in each of the BitmapImage Elements where this image is embedded in the FXG.
