Learn how to apply Optical Flow and Time Remapping effects to conventionally shot footage to create better looking and smoother slow motion.

If you want to re-create the effect shown in this video, copy the Slow-Motion Assets to your Creative Cloud Assets. Click Save to Creative Cloud to copy the assets to your own account.

How to make slow-motion effects

  1. In Adobe Premiere Pro, go to Clip Speed/Duration.
  2. You can lower the Speed percentage and change the Time Interpolation selection to Optical Flow.
  3. To further enhance the slow motion effect, use Effect Controls, select Time Remapping, and lower the speed percentage.
