Validating HDS streams

  1. Go to https://validate.adobeprimetime.com. The Streaming validation service page is displayed with the New Task tab active.
  2. Enter the URI of the HDS stream in the Source Manifest URL text box.
  3. Ensure that HDS is selected for Streaming Protocol. This is the default value.
  4. If necessary, click Advanced and specify the time when validation should start. You can also specify the duration for which stream validation is to be performed. To know more about these optional fields and how they apply to Live and VOD streams, hover your mouse pointer over the icon next to Start Time.
  5. Click Validate. A new tab with the name displaying the first ten characters of Task ID becomes active.

    The Task ID is a unique alphanumeral assigned by the service for the validation request. To check the validation status later, note the value of Task ID

For an ongoing validation, Status displays the value Running. Click Refresh on the top right to know the validation status. When validation is complete, Status displays the value Completed.
