Navigate to
C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Premiere Elements
or press Windows+R.
The Run dialog box appears.
Adobe Premiere Elements gets stuck at loading PlayerMediaCore.prm during launch.
Navigate to
C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Premiere Elements
or press Windows+R.
The Run dialog box appears.
In the Run dialog box, type %appdata% and click OK.
The Roaming folder opens.
Navigate to the following location:
Adobe\Premiere Elements
Open the Debug Database.txt file.
Locate the following flag entry:
DS.ForceCPUOnly false false
Modify the flag entry to true as shown below:
DS.ForceCPUOnly true false
Save the changes by choosing File > Save in Notepad.
If Adobe Premiere Elements did not launch properly in the past and this is a first-time installation, you may be unable to locate the flag entry mentioned in Step 5. In that case, replace the code you have on your Debug Database.txt file by copy-pasting the code from the Debug Database.txt file. Then, continue from Step 5.
