Use motion assets from Adobe Stock to add high-production animation highlights to your videos.

Search on Adobe Stock

Search for Motion Graphics templates on Adobe Stock.

On stock.adobe.com, use the top navigation to click Videos. On the video landing page, click on the Motion Graphics templates collection to see all motion graphics.

Next, on the Motion Graphics collection page, narrow your results with the search term “swish”.

Make sure that “Premiere Pro” is selected in the filters on the left side of the screen.

License your selection, which will automatically download it to your computer.

Note: You can also search and license directly inside Adobe Premiere Pro within the Essential Graphics panel Browse tab.

In a screenshot of a Safari browser, the Adobe Stock website search page shows that a visitor selected the category ‘Templates’ and clicked the ‘Premiere Pro’ filter radio button in the sidebar to narrow the results

Import your template

In the menu bar, click Window > Workspaces > Graphics

  • Locate your Essential Graphics panel
  • Click the Browse tab
  • In the lower right corner of the panel, click the Plus button to import your downloaded Motion Graphics template.

Navigate to its location on your hard drive and select it.

Customize the template

Use the Essential Graphics panel’s Edit tab to customize the look and feel of your new Motion Graphics template.

In our example, we’re highlighting the dance moves our influencer is doing for their social video by adding elemental motion graphics glowing swishes.

We’re going to modify the swish style, color, duration, size, location, and other customizable variables.

We’ve made the following specific adjustments:

Animation Type: 6

Scale – Size: 118

Glow Radius: 33

Glow Intensity: 84

We selected a shade of teal for Glow Color 01 and an electric blue for Glow Color 02. Then we moved it into position using the Motion adjustments in the Effects Controls panel.

In an Adobe Premiere Pro desktop screenshot focused on both the Program Monitor, which shows two African American women dancing, and the Essential Graphics panel, the editor makes adjustments to the Motion Graphics template that is in the timeline

Duplicate the template

Now we’ll duplicate your template in the timeline to add a few more swish flourishes.

Copy and paste your existing template on the timeline and use the Edit tab in the Essential Graphics panel to customize the look and feel of the template a second time.

In this case, we’ve changed the following parameters:

Animation Type: 3

Stroke Width: 4

Scale – Size: 82

Glow Radius: 18

Glow Intensity: 84

We kept the exact same teal for Glow Color 01, but changed Glow Color 02 to an electric green, which helps give the different animations a similar feel.

In an Adobe Premiere Pro desktop screenshot, the editor has control+clicked on the Motion Graphics template in the timeline, revealing a pop-up dialogue box, where they’ve highlighted the word ‘Copy’

Add the template to your timeline once more

Let’s add a third instance of the Motion Graphics template to your timeline for one more flourish on the dance tutorial.

Drag and drop the template onto your timeline one more time.

Use the Essential Graphics panel’s Edit tab to customize the look and feel of your new Motion Graphics template. Pick a new Animation Type (there are 10 to choose from), and the color of the glow, and place it in a new position.

Play the video

Tap the spacebar to play your video through. Check for pacing and to make sure the swish elements highlight the most important sections of the video.

In an Adobe Premiere Pro desktop screenshot, the Playback monitor shows two African American women dancing in a room with a sofa, credenza, and a full length mirror, while in the Program Monitor, the same two women are shown head-on

Export

Export your video with an Adobe Premiere Pro preset for social media or desktop presentations.

We’re using a 1080p HD Vimeo preset that outputs a video we can use anywhere on the web.

In an Adobe Premiere Pro desktop screenshot, the editor is working in the Export Media window and is rolling their cursor over the various export preset options

You’ve elevated the production of your video by adding Adobe Stock motion assets!
