Default number of images | Scene7

Does Scene7 support more than one default image? For example, can there be a default image for both an English site and a French site?

Solution

You can configure only a single default image in Scene7 Publishing System (SPS) per account. However, you can pass the defaultImage parameter directly on the URL which takes precedence over the default settings.

Here's an example URL calling a made up SKU, frenchImage, and passing the Backpack_B image as the defaultImage:

 http://sample.scene7.com/is/image/TechSupport/frenchImage?defaultImage=Backpack_B

You can set up the defaultImage parameter in the modifier field of an Image Preset in SPS and pass the image preset on the URL.
