Learn some of the most important features in the Adobe Premiere Rush CC interface you’ll use every day.

What you learned: 

The Rush home page gives you access to all your projects created on mobile devices or on your desktop. Your projects are synced to the cloud, so you can pick up right where you left off.

  • Start a new project by clicking the blue “Create a New Project” button
  • Use the Media Browser to locate and select the media for your project, including videos, images, or audio clips
  • Media is added in the order that you select it. Preview the timeline at the bottom of the Media Browser
  • After setting up your project, click the blue “+” icon on the upper left of the editing workspace to add titles or media or create a voiceover
  • Use the Project panel below the “+” button to view all your project media and organize it
  • Click the house icon at the top to return to your project browser and select another project or go back to your current project
  • Use the playback controls to navigate the timeline of your video. Click the Full Screen icon to resize the video to fit your screen
  • Change the video orientation to landscape, vertical, or square by clicking the settings to the right of the playback controls
