To get the latest fixes and enhancement in Remote Update Manager, use the following steps:

Log into the Admin Console and navigate to Packages > Tools.
Go to the Remote Update Manager card and download the tool based on your operating system.
Overwrite the RUM executable in the following locations in your machine:
- In CCP install location (for packages to be created in future):
  
  Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\CCP\utilities\RemoteUpdateManager
  
  Mac: /Applications/Utilities/Adobe\ Application\Manager/CCP/utilities/RemoteUpdateManager
When you overwrite the RUM executable as above, any new packages created using the CCP include the latest RUM and deploy it on client machines.

You can also deploy the latest RUM on a machine by creating and deploying a Creative Cloud app-only package.
