When sending Quote for signature, how does one add additional recipients apart from the ones in the customer record?
The requirement is that multiple contacts have to be added in the agreement record. The organization is applying the basic functionality and does not want the users to be able to use the highlighted features.
Adobe has locked these lists by default.
-
Go to the Quote.
-
Click Send for signature button.
- Agreement page appears.
-
Click Edit button.
-
Scroll down and Add on recipients tab.
-
Click Dropdown.
-
Select New from the dropdown.
-
Enter the details and click Save.
-
Click Add.
- Recipient is added to the agreement.
Question:
Is there an option to automatically attach documents when the Agreement page loads? Basically, Pre-define the documents somehow, so that when the agreement page opens, the documents are already there?
Answer:
If the agreement is initiated from a transaction record, for example, Quote, then the record is auto attached as PDF on the agreement page.
If you want other documents present in the file cabinet to get auto attached when the agreement page loads up, then unfortunately this use case cannot be met.
Adobe Acrobat Sign for Netsuite does not support any customization on the existing bundle.
The requirement is that multiple contacts are to be added in the agreement record highlighted features. These lists have been locked by Adobe. Can the highlighted fields be disabled in NetSuite?
No.
These custom fields cannot be disabled.
Question:
Does the user see the “Send for signature” button if he is not assigned a role to use e-sign on Quote?
Answer:
If the administrator has deployed the script (Adobe eSign Services Estimate Button) on Quote Record and the user belongs to a Netsuite role in which he has access to the quote record, then he sees “send for signature” button.
If admin wants to restrict that user to not able to send for signature workflow, then within the permission list of Adobe eSign Services Agreement record, he can set the Level as None for that user role.
Question:
In Quote, are you able to add additional documents on quote?
Answer:
Quote is a standard transaction record, within that record you cannot add additional documents, but when you initiate a send for signature workflow from the quote record, you can attach addiitonal documents on the agreement page.
