Release notes

Stay ahead with the latest! Update Adobe Acrobat Sign app for a faster, easier, and enhanced experience.

February, 2025 (V 3.29.90)

This release includes the following new features:

Enhanced agreement retrieval with search API implementation

Acrobat Sign app now uses the search API to retrieve agreements by their status. With the implementation of the search API, agreements older than 30 days are no longer excluded. The search API enables pagination, with a default limit of 100 agreements per section. You can scroll to load more agreements if needed. For more details, view Fetch agreements configurations.

Organized template management

Your templates are now organized under groups like User, Account, Group, and Acrobat Sign Templates. You can easily search for templates within the groups. Accounts that have Users in Multiple Groups (UMG) enabled see folders for each group they are a member of, with the related templates inside.

Your administrators can create and manage these groups and assign templates. If you are not part of any group, you can view shared templates by default. For more details, view Send for signature.

November, 2024 (V 3.29.8)

This release includes the following new feature and some performance and stability enhancements:

Feature enhancement

  • Waiting for Prefill documents are now available in the Waiting for You section: You can now continue the prefill process by accessing them from the Waiting for You section in the Adobe Sign iOS app.

Fixed issues:

  • Seamless In-Person Signing on iPad

Fixed an issue that interrupted in-person signing sessions on iPads, displaying the error “This transaction failed because of a server error: Unable to complete request. Invalid field values provided: [ParticipantDOB].” The fix ensures a smooth and error-free signing experience.

  • Enhanced In-Person Signing with New Send/Compose Flow

Fixed a bug where agreements sent using the new Send/Compose flow failed to automatically open for completion during in-person or host signing. Previously, the process would stall post-sending, causing delays. The flow has been optimized to ensure agreements open seamlessly for signing immediately after being sent, enhancing user efficiency and experience.

August, 2023 (V 3.29)

This release includes the following new feature:

  • Enable push notifications: iOS mobile users can now enable push notifications in their Acrobat Sign app. These notifications keep users informed about new documents requiring their attention and also notify senders when documents are signed, rejected, or completed. If desired, users can disable push notifications through their device settings.

This feature is available on iOS versions 15 and above for users managed on the Adobe Admin Console.

July, 2022 (V 3.26.1)

Besides performance and stability enhancements, this release includes re-branding of Adobe Sign to Adobe Acrobat Sign.

October, 2021 (V 3.26)

This release includes performance and stability enhancements.

Fixed issues

  • Improved permissions for location capture with the agreement Sender as the controller of the signing location data.

  • Resolved the issue where agreements get stuck in the ‘waiting to sync’ stage. Users can log out and log in again to push the agreements to the next stage of ‘Completed’ or ‘Waiting for others’.
