Sign In Required screen shown on launching Creative Cloud Applications

Issue

The Sign-in Required screen is shown on launching Creative Cloud applications, licensed using a volume serial number, that are deployed via OS cloning or imaging technologies.

Resolution

  1. Deploy the licensed OS image (with Creative Cloud applications already installed and licensed) on the target machine.

  2. Download adobe_oobelib.dll.zip (for Windows) or adobe_oobelib.dylib.zip (for MacOS) from here and extract the files on the target machine.

  3. Replace the dll or dylib files extracted in step 2 at the following location on the cloned machine (without launching the application)

    • Win: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\P7\
    • Mac: /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Application Manager/P7/
