Before you proceed
- Ensure that you've the latest version installed on your computer. For more information, see Update Creative Cloud apps.
- Close the Adobe InDesign application, if it's open.

In the extracted folder, double-click CopyPlugin.vbs.

Browse and select Adobe InDesign 2020 application folder.

Click OK. If you get an error while copying the file, make sure that you unzip the downloaded file before running the plug-in.

The plug-in is installed and you get the following message once InDesign is successfully updated.
Installation completed -
Launch Adobe InDesign.
Resolution for InDesign | macOS
Perform the following steps to download and install the plugin to resolve this issue in macOS:

Download CopyPlugin.zip.

Unzip the downloaded file and extract its content to desktop.

In the extracted folder, double-click CopyPlugin.app.

Select the Adobe InDesign 2020 application and click Choose.

If you get an error while copying the file, make sure that you unzip the downloaded file before running the plug-in. The following message is displayed once the plugin is installed and InDesign is successfully updated.

Launch Adobe InDesign.
Resolution for InCopy | Windows and macOS
Download the following plugins to resolve the issue for Windows and macOS respectively:
- Windows: CopyPlugin.zip
- macOS: CopyPlugin.zip
To install and run the plugin, follow the same steps as listed above for InDesign. Ensure that you select the Adobe InCopy 2020 application folder on Windows and Adobe InCopy 2020 application on macOS.
