When uploading a Tiff file with ZIP Compression format to AEM Assets, no renditions are generated.
Environment
AEM Assets 6.0, 6.1, 6.2, 6.3
Resolution
As a workaround in AEM 6.0 through 6.3, you can implement the following:

Open the DAM Update Asset workflow model.

Double click the EPS thumbnails (powered by ImageMagick) step.

Select the Arguments tab.

Add image/tiff to the list of Mime Types (see screenshot [1])

Click OK.

Click Save on the top left of the workflow model page to save.
